Apratihata (अप्रतिहता)
Apratihata (अप्रतिहता | apratihatā) means unhindered or uninterrupted.
In Bhakti, apratihata describes devotion that is not allowed to be interrupted by any obstacle. The devotee's remembrance of God and Guru continues without a break.
The scriptures compare this continuity to a steady stream of oil. Unlike water, which may separate into drops, oil poured in a stream flows in an unbroken thread. In the same way, the devotee strives to keep the mind continuously directed toward God and Guru.
The Shrimad Bhagavata Mahapurana describes this state of unbreakable, unhindered devotion as apratihata.
