यमुनानिकटतटस्थितवृन्दावनकानने महारम्ये
कल्पद्रुमतलभूमौ चरणं चरणोपरिस्थाप्य ।

yamunānikaṭataṭasthitavṛndāvanakānane mahāramye
kalpadrumatalabhūmau caraṇaṃ caraṇoparisthāpya ।

हिंदी अनुवाद

यमुना जी के तट पर वृंदावन की किसी अति मनोहर वाटिका में कल्पवृक्ष के नीचे की भूमि पर चरण पर चरण रखे श्री कृष्ण बैठे हैं।

English Translation

In a relaxed pose, one leg crossed over the other, Krishna is sitting under a celestial tree, Kalpavriksh, in a most beautiful grove of Vrindavan near the river Yamuna.

तिष्ठंतं घननीलं स्वतेजसा भासयन्तमिह विश्वम् ।
पीताम्बरपरिधानं चन्दनकर्पूरलिप्तसर्वांगम् ॥

tiṣṭhantaṃ ghananīlaṃ svatejasā bhāsayantīmiha viśvam
pītāmbaraparidhānaṃ candanakarpūraliptasarvāṅgam ॥

हिंदी अनुवाद

जो नवीन बादलों के सदृश श्याम वर्ण के हैं, पीतांबर पहने हुए हैं एवं सारे शरीर में कपूर से मिश्रित चंदन का लेप किए हुए हैं।

English Translation

He is dressed in saffron yellow. His body, which has the hue of a young rain-laden cloud, glorifies the universe with its Divine glow. His entire body is anointed with a thin paste of sandalwood with a mild touch of camphor.

आकर्णपूर्णनेत्रं कुण्डलयुगमंडितश्रवणम् ।
मंदस्मितमुखकमलं सकौस्तुभौदारमणिहारम् ॥

ākarṇapūrṇanetraṃ kuṇḍalayugamaṇḍitaśravaṇam
mandasmitamukhakamalaṃ sakaustubhodāramaṇihāram ॥

हिंदी अनुवाद

जिनके कर्ण पर्यन्त बड़े-बड़े नेत्र हैं, कानों में सुंदर कुण्डल सुशोभित हैं, मुखारविंद मंद-मंद मुस्कुरा रहा है। जिनके वक्षःस्थल पर कौस्तुभ मणि युक्त सुंदर मालाएँ सुशोभित हो रही हैं।

English Translation

His blue lotus eyes are charming, and beautiful earrings adorn His ears. His loving lotus face bears a gentle, soul-enticing smile. His chest is adorned with glittering precious stones and a necklace bearing the Kaustubh jewel.

वलयांगुलीयकाद्यानुज्वलयन्तमं स्वलंकारान् ।
गलविलुलितवनमालं स्वतेजसापास्तकलिकालम् ॥

valayāṅgulīyakādyānujvalayantamaṃ svalaṅkārān
galavilulitavanamālaṃ svatejasāpāstakalikālam ॥

हिंदी अनुवाद

जो अपनी कान्ति को दूनी कर रहे हैं, जिनके गले में वनमाला लटक रही है, जिन्होंने अपने तेज के प्रभाव से कलिकाल को नष्ट कर दिया है।

English Translation

The radiance of His body multiplies the beauty of His ornaments and the rings on His fingers. The vanmala, a flower garland made of five types of flowers, adorns His neck, and by His glory He has suspended the effect of kaliyug.

गुंजारवालिकलितं गुञ्जापुंजान्विते शिरसी ।
भुञ्जानं सह गोपैः कुंजांतवर्तिनं नमत​ ॥

guñjāravālikalitaṃ guñjāpuñjānvite śirasi
bhuñjānaṃ saha gopaiḥ kuñjāntarvartinaṃ namata ।

हिंदी अनुवाद

जिनका गुंजावलि-अलंकृत मस्तक गूँजते हुए भौंरों से शोभायमान हो रहा है। किसी कुंज के भीतर बैठकर ग्वाल-बालों के साथ भोजन करते हुए उन श्री कृष्ण का स्मरण करो।

English Translation

His fragrant curly locks, falling over His forehead like strings of black bumblebees, are attracting bumblebees, which buzz happily. Seated within a kunj, He shares food with His cowherd friends. Remember such a loving Krishna.

मन्दारपुष्पवासितमंदानिल सेवित परमानन्दम् ।
मन्दाकिनीयुतपदं नमत महानन्ददं महापुरुषं॥

mandārapuṣpavāsitamandānilasevitaparānandam
mandākinīyutapadaṃ namata mahānandaṃ mahāpuruṣam ॥

हिंदी अनुवाद

जो कल्पवृक्ष के फूलों की सुगंध से युक्त मंद-मंद वायु से सेवित हैं, जो स्वयं परमानंद स्वरूप हैं, जिनके चरणों में भगवती भागीरथी विराजमान हैं।

English Translation

The supreme personality of Krishna is absolute bliss. Goddess Ganga resides at His feet, and His body is caressed by the gentle breeze perfumed with the fragrance of flowers of Kalpavriksh.

सुरभीकृतदिग्वलयं सुरभिशतैरावतः परितः ।
सुरभीतिक्षपणमहासुरभीमं यादवं नमत ॥

surabhīkṛtadigvalayaṃ surabhiśatairāvataḥ paritaḥ
surabhītikṣapaṇamahāsurabhīmaṃ yādavaṃ namata ॥

हिंदी अनुवाद

उन परमानंददायक श्री कृष्ण का स्मरण करो, जिन्होंने समस्त दिशाओं को सुगंधित कर रखा है, जो सैकड़ों कामधेनु से भी सुंदर गायों से घिरे हुए हैं। जो देवताओं के भय को दूर करने वाले एवं भयानक राक्षसों को भी भयभीत करने वाले हैं, उन यदुनंदन का स्मरण करो।

English Translation

Adore and worship Yadunandan—Krishna, who descended in the Yadu family—whose Divine fragrance fills all directions with Divine love. He is surrounded by hundreds of Kamdhenu, celestial cows. His presence frightens even the greatest demons and brings joy to the gods and goddesses. All salutations to such a Yadav!
