Sadharani Rati (साधारणी रति | sādhāraṇī rati) is a category of Madhurya Bhav in which a devotee accepts Shri Krishna as the Beloved with the desire to experience personal happiness through Him.
Nature of Sadharani Rati
In Sadharani Rati, the devotee loves Shri Krishna as the Beloved, but the desire for one's own happiness remains within that love.
The devotee desires to experience Shri Krishna with all the senses. Thus, although there is love for Shri Krishna, personal happiness is also sought.
Kubja is the leading example of Sadharani Rati.
