Sansar (संसार)
The entire material creation, manifested through Maya, comprising innumerable brahmands and subject to constant change.
Sansar (संसार | saṁsāra) refers to the entire material world, which is a manifestation of God's material power, Maya.
Sansar consists of innumerable brahmands (cosmic realms) and supports the 8.4 million forms of life through which jeevs undergo the cycle of birth and death.
Everything in Sansar is governed by the three gunas of Maya: Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas.
The word Sansar also conveys the ever-changing nature of the material world. Nothing in it remains permanently unchanged.
Although Sansar is created through Maya, the external material world is real because it is created and sustained by God. However, the internal world of desires and imagined happiness that the mind constructs around material objects is not real in the same sense.
