Gopashtami | गोपाष्टमी

Gopashtami (गोपाष्टमी​​; gōpāṣṭamī) is the day when the cowherd boys are initiated into herding cattle.

Vaishya community are the business men of Vedic Society. One of the professions of this community is to raise cattle.
