Every soul seeks happiness.

Some seek it through worldly achievement.
Some seek it through knowledge.
Some seek it through spiritual practice.

The Vedic scriptures describe three principal paths for spiritual progress: Karma, Gyan, and Bhakti.

Understanding the relationship between these paths is not always straightforward. The scriptures are vast, and a God-realized Saint helps the seeker understand their true conclusion and apply them correctly.

This section examines these three paths in the same sequence in which the scriptures discuss them:

The path of Karma examines duty, action, responsibility, Varnashram Dharma, karmic consequences, and the role of action in spiritual life.

Where This Leads

Through these inquiries, we discover what action (karma) can accomplish, what knowledge (gyan) can accomplish, and where the limitations of both ultimately lie.

We also discover that the great saints repeatedly emphasize Bhakti, Divine Grace, and surrender as essential to God realization.
