Guru Arti
Arti is sung while doing fire circumambulation of God and Guru with a lighted lamp. God says "those who worship Me are not my real devotees, but those who worship my devotees are My real devotees".
Sing this arti while humbling yourself before Guru's lotus feet.
गुरु आरती
जयति जगद्गुरु गुरुवर की, गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ।
गाओ गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ॥
गुरुपद - नख - मणि - चन्द्रिका प्रकाश, जाके उर बसे ताके मोह तम नाश ।
जाके माथ नाथ तव हाथ करे वास, ताते होय माया मोह सब ही निराश ।
पावे गति मति रति राधावर की, गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ।
गाओ गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ॥
अरे मन मूढ़ ! छाँडु नारी नर हाथ, गुरु बिनु ब्रह्म श्याम हूँ न देंगे साथ ।
कोमल कृपालु बड़े कृपासिंधु नाथ, पाके इन्हें आज तू अनाथ हो सनाथ ।
इन्हीं के आधीन कृपा गिरिधर की, गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ।
गाओ गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ॥
भक्तियोग रस अवतार अभिराम, करें निगमागम समन्वय ललाम ।
श्यामा श्याम नाम रूप लीला गुण धाम, बाँटि रहे प्रेम निष्काम बिनु दाम ।
हो रही सफल काया नारी नर की, गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ।
गाओ गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ॥
लली लाल लीला का सलोना सुविलास, छाया दिव्य दृष्टि बिच प्रेम का प्रकाश । वैसा ही विनोद वही मंजु मृदु हास, करें बस बरबस उच्च अट्टहास ।
झूमि चलें चाल वही नटवर की, गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ।
गाओ गाओ मिलि आरती रसिकवर की ॥
गुरु आरती-अर्थ
आइये हम अपने पूज्य गुरु जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज की आरती करें, जो रसिक संतों के शिखर रत्न हैं।
जो सदैव उनके शरणागत रहते हैं, उनके हृदय से माया का अंधकार तुरन्त दूर हो जाता है। ऐसा उनके चरण-कमलों के नख-मणियों से निकलने वाली दिव्य ज्योति के कारण होता है।
हे प्रभु! जो आपके द्वारा रक्षित हैं, उनके लिए प्रबल माया की शक्ति अपने सभी गुणों सहित परास्त हो जाती है।
इस प्रकार, आपके भक्त श्री राधा-कृष्ण के प्रियतम के धाम, ज्ञान और प्रेम को प्राप्त करते हैं ।
अतः हम अपने पूज्य गुरु जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज की आरती करें।
हे मूर्ख मन! मायिक प्राणियों से सहायता पाने की आशआ छोड़अ दे । गुरुदेव की कृपा के बिना तुझे परात्परब्रह्म कृष्ण भी सहायता नहीं करेंगे ।
तू कितना भाग्यशाली है कि तुझे गुरुदेव श्री कृपालु जी महाराज के चरण-कमलों की शरण मिली है, जो इतने सरल हृदय और दया के सागर हैं! अतः, ऐसे दयालु गुरु के चरण कमलों की शरण क्यों नहीं लेता । अनंत काल से अनाथ होने की अपनी दयनीय स्थिति का अंत क्यों नहीं कर लेता ?
ईश्वर की कृपा भी उनके आधीन है।
अतः हम अपने पूज्य गुरु जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज की आरती करें।
हे अमृत रूपि भक्तिरस के अवतार ! आप वेदों और अन्य शास्त्रों के विरोधाभासी पहलुओं का आश्चर्यजनक सहजता से प्रभावशाली समन्वय करने में निपुण हैं।
आप श्री राधा कृष्ण के दिव्य नामों, रूपों, लीलाओं, गुणों और धामों का अमूल्य रत्न बिना किसी मूल्य के मुक्तहस्त से लुटा रहे हैं।
इस प्रकार वे मानव जीवन को कृतार्थ कर रहे हैं।
अतः हम अपने पूज्य गुरु जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज की आरती करें।
उनके नेत्र श्री राधा कृष्ण की सुंदर दिव्य लीलाओं के दिव्य प्रकाश से संतृप्त हैं।
यही कारण है कि उनकी विनोदी, सुमधुर मुस्कान, विलक्षण तेज हंसी और लहराती चाल बिल्कुल नटखट श्री कृष्ण से मिलती-जुलती है।
अतः हम अपने पूज्य गुरु जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज की आरती करें।
Guru Arti Transliteration
jayati jagadguru guruvara kī, gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ।
gāo gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ॥
gurupada - nakha - maṇi - candrikā prakāśa, jāke ura base tāke moha tama nāśa ।
jāke mātha nātha tava hātha kare vāsa, tāte hoya māyā moha saba hī nirāśa ।
pāve gati mati rati rādhāvara kī, gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ।
gāo gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ॥
are mana mūḍha ! chām̐ḍu nārī nara hātha, guru binu brahma śyāma hūm̐ na deṁge sātha ।
komala kr̥pālu baḍae kr̥pāsiṁdhu nātha, pāke inheṁ āja tū anātha ho sanātha ।
inhīṁ ke ādhīna kr̥pā giridhara kī, gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ।
gāo gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ॥
bhaktiyoga rasa avatāra abhirāma, kareṁ nigamāgama samanvaya lalāma ।
śyāmā śyāma nāma rūpa līlā guṇa dhāma, bām̐ṭi rahe prema niṣkāma binu dāma ।
ho rahī saphala kāyā nārī nara kī, gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ।
gāo gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ॥
lalī lāla līlā kā salonā suvilāsa, chāyā divya dr̥ṣṭi bica prema kā prakāśa ।
vaisā hī vinoda vahī maṁju mr̥du hāsa, kareṁ basa barabasa ucca aṭṭahāsa ।
jhūmi caleṁ cāla vahī naṭavara kī, gāo mili āratī rasikavara kī ।

Guru Arti Translation
Let us perform the aarti of our revered master- Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who is the crest jewel of rasik saints.
The darkness of Maya dissipates immediately from the heart of those who is always surrendered to Him. This is due to the divine light emanating from the nail-gems of His lotus feet.
O Lord, The power of Maya, with all its attributes, is incapacitated for those, who are protected by you.
Thus, your devotees attain the abode, knowledge and love of beloved of Shri Radha - Krishna.
O foolish mind ! forget about banking on the material beings.You can not get the help of even the Supreme Lord Krishna without the grace of Gurudev.
You are so lucky to have shelter at the lotus feet of Gurudev Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who is so simple-hearted and the ocean of mercy! Hence, why don’t you take shelter at the lotus feet of such a kind Spiritual master and put an end to your pitiable condition of being an orphan since eternity?
The grace of God is also under His control. Hence, let us perform the arti of our revered master- Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
He is a beautiful incarnation of the nectar of devotion. He is expert as providing impressive reconciliation of the seeming contradictory aspects of the Vedas and other scriptures with surprising ease.
He is generously distributing the priceless nectar of the divine names, forms, pastimes, attributes and abodes of Shri Radha Krishna without any cost.
Thus, He is rectifying the lives of the human beings. Hence, let us perform the arti of our revered master- Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
His eyes are saturated with the divine light of the beautiful divine pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna.
This is the reason why His humorous, luscious way of smiling, fantastically loud laughter and swaying gait are precisely similar to that of naughty Shri Krishna.
