Daharakash Vigyan-Science of God's Powers

Daharakash Vigyan-Science of God's Powers

In Vedas The Supreme God is called Daharakash (Devanagari: दहराकाश ISO15919: daharākāśa).

The science of Daharakash is called Daharakash Vigyan (Devanagari: दहराकाश विज्ञान ISO15919: daharākāśa vijñāna). It is also referred to as Dahara vidya (Devanagari: दहर विद्या ISO15919: dahara vidyā).

This science is described in Chandogyopanishad

atha yadidamasminbrahmapure daharaṁ puṇḍarīkaṁ veśma daharo'sminnantarākāśastasminyadantastadanveṣṭavyaṁ tadvāva vijijñāsitavyamiti ॥
chāndogyopaniṣad 8.1.1

"there is a place called Brahmpur (human body). Inside that there is courtyard (heart). Inside that courtyard there is Akash. This Akash has a mystery about it. It is imperative to know this mystery."

Generally, the space is called akash. This Vedas mantra does not refer to spaces inside the heart of every jeev. Vedas refer to The Supreme God as Akash. Vedas further clarify the meaning of Akash :

यावान्वा अयमाकाशस्तावानेषोऽन्तर्हृदय अकाश उभे अस्मिन्द्यावापृथिवी अन्तरेव समाहिते उभावग्निश्च वायुश्च सूर्याचन्द्रमसावुभौ विद्युन्नक्षत्राणि यच्चास्येहास्ति यच्च नास्ति सर्वं तदस्मिन्समाहितमिति ॥
छान्दोग्योपनिषद् 8.1.3 ॥
yāvānvā ayamākāśastāvāneṣo'ntarhr̥daya akāśa ubhe asmindyāvāpr̥thivī antareva samāhite ubhāvagniśca vāyuśca sūryācandramasāvubhau vidyunnakṣatrāṇi yaccāsyehāsti yacca nāsti sarvaṁ tadasminsamāhitamiti ॥
chāndogyopaniṣad 8.1.3 ॥

"The Akash inside the heart is so big that infinite brahmand exist inside it. Everything that can be seen and even the things that cannot be seen also exist inside this Akash".

So, Daharakash means The Supreme God-Shri Krishna.

Mystery of Daharakash

This Daharakash has infinite qualities in infinite measure. The mystery about this Akash is that He is endowed with following eight primary qualities. Each of these qualities are immeasurable in their extent.

अपहृत्पाप्मा विजरो विमृत्युर्विशोको विजिघत्सोऽपिपासः सत्यकामः सत्य संकल्पः ।
apahr̥tpāpmā vijaro vimr̥tyurviśoko vijighatso'pipāsaḥ satyakāmaḥ satya saṁkalpaḥ ।

Each of these qualities have a very profound meaning. Their brief descriptions are mentioned below.

Jeev has one job. To surrender to Daharakash. Then, by the grace of Guru jeev will attain all these qualities:

Apahritpapma

  1. Apahritpapma (Devanagari: अपहृत्पाप्मा ISO15919: apahr̥tpāpmā) means being eternally free of sins.

Vijro

  1. Vijro (Devanagari: विजरो ISO15919: vijaro) means being eternally free of all modes of Maya.

Vimrityu

  1. Vimrityu (Devanagari: विमृत्युः ISO15919: vimr̥tyuḥ) means being eternally free from death.

Vishoko

  1. Vishoko (Devanagari: विशोको ISO15919: viśoko ) means being eternally free from all miseries.

Vijighatso

  1. Vijighatso (Devanagari: विजिघत्सो ISO15919: vijighatso) means being eternally free from antipathy.

Apipasa

God is the master of all these divine qualities. As soon as jeev realizes God, Guru bestows all these qualities to the fullest extent on jeev.

The word Brahm means the one who makes others equal to Himself. Keeping up His reputation The all-gracious Supreme Lord makes insignificant jeev equal to Himself in these eight ways.

That is the science of Daharakash.
