Chetan | चेतन
Chetan (Devanagari: चेतन ISO15919: cētana) means living beings.
Depending on the context sometime mobile living beings are referred to as chetan.
Jiva and Bhagawan both are chetan.
They are sentient in endowed with a mind and intellect. The extent of their capabilities vary significantly according to the life form. Still, there is no living being without any intellect and mind.
Opposite of chetan is jad.
