vishoka | विशोक

Vishoka (Devanagari: विशोक; ISO 15919: viśoka) literally means "free from misery" or "without sorrow."

The Divine Attribute It is one of the eight divine qualities of God described in the Dahara Vidya section of the Chandogya Upanishad.

Attainment by the Soul While this quality is inherent to God, it is bestowed upon the soul at the moment of God-realization. Once attained, the devotee becomes eternally free from all forms of grief, mental anguish, and material suffering, partaking in the bliss of the Divine.
