vishesh kripa | विशेष कृपा
God bestows special grace on those who desire to attain Him.
He notes down actions of every human being. If you do some bhakti in your current human form after death you would have forgotten all about it. But God remembers that. He bestows upon you all the benefits you had already achieved in the past life. He gives you opportunities so you can grow your attachment to God.
This is called vishesh kripa (Devanagari: विशेष कृपा ISO19519: viśēṣa kr̥pā).
