Vatsalya Bhava (Devanagari: वात्सल्य भाव; ISO 15919: vātsalya bhāva) refers to the devotional sentiment of parental love.

In this mood of devotion, the devotee looks upon God not as a superior master or friend, but as their own child. This unique relationship allows the devotee to care for, protect, and nurture the Supreme Lord, setting aside His infinite majesty to experience intimate affection.

The Fourth Sentiment It is the fourth of the five primary devotional sentiments (Bhavas) described by Rasik saints, It is superior to Shanta (peaceful), Dasya (servitude), and Sakhya (friendship) due to its increased intimacy.
