uttara paksha | उत्तर पक्ष
uttara paksha (Devanagari: उत्तर पक्ष ISO15919: uttara pakṣa) is the response or reply, where the speaker presents their own argument, often by refuting the purva paksha (Devanagari: पूर्वपक्ष ISO15919: pūrvapakṣa) and offering a counter-argument or solution.
In a debate, the purva paksha would be the initial argument presented by one side, and the uttara paksha would be the response which refutes the arguments of purva paksha by highlighting the inaccuracies in it.
This concept is used in various fields, including philosophy, theology, and legal arguments, to structure and analyze discussions and debates.
