Trailokya
The three classes of material worlds together are referred to by the world Trilok (Devanagari: त्रिलोक ISO15919: trilōka).
- Swarg lok (स्वर्ग लोक): These are celestial abodes. God gives residence in thise abode, for a limited duration, as a reward for performing Vedic injuctions in 100% accordance with the Vedic rules,
- Mritu lok (मृत्यु लोक): The earth planet is referred to as Mrityu lok (for more details see lok)
- Narak (नरक): These are hellish abodes, to where one is banished to face consequences of one's evil deeds. After which the jeev is sent back to other loks.
