svarupa shaktyananda | स्वरूप शक्त्यानंद
Svarupa Shaktyananda (Devanagari: स्वरूप शक्त्यानंद; ISO 15919: svarūpa śaktyānaṁda) refers to the Bliss of the Divine Power.
The Sweetness of the Personal Form While the Supreme Lord has two aspects (Impersonal and Personal), the sweetness of His Personal form generates a unique bliss known as Svarupa Shaktyananda. This is the special sweetness that Shri Krishna enjoys through His devotees.
Honey and the Bee: The Distinction To understand this, one must distinguish it from Svarupananda:
- Svarupananda: Shri Krishna is both the honey and the honey bee; His Hladini Shakti enables Him to enjoy His own sweetness directly.
- Svarupa Shaktyananda: This is considered sweeter than Svarupananda. When a devotee selflessly loves God, the Svarupa Shakti manifests in their heart. The resulting bliss of love is so potent that it is enjoyed by God Himself.
Two Kinds of Bliss Svarupa Shaktyananda manifests in two forms:
- Aishvaryananda: The bliss of majesty, where the feeling of reverence obscures the sweetness of intimate love.
- Manasananda: The bliss of intimacy. Here, the devotee completely forgets the greatness of God, becoming totally lost in love. This is considered the sweetest form of divine love bliss.
