svarga | स्वर्ग

svarga (Devanagari: स्वर्ग ISO15919: svarga ) are the abodes located above the earth in the brahmanda .

They are all within the material realm yet their luxuries far exceed those on the Earth. Some of these abodes are made of gross liek the earth where as others are subtle abodes. So they cannot be perceived with human eyes.

Nevertheless they are all material in nature and made by Maya. God sends jiva to these abodes are short durations to enjoy the fruits of punya.

Svarga (Devanagari: स्वर्ग; ISO 15919: svarga) refers to the Celestial Abodes or heavenly planets.

Location and Nature These abodes are located above the Earth within the cosmic egg (Brahmanda). While they are all within the material realm, their luxuries far exceed those found on Earth.

  • Composition: Some of these abodes are made of gross matter (like Earth), while others are subtle. Because of their subtle nature, they cannot be perceived by ordinary human eyes.
  • Mayic Nature: Regardless of their opulence, they are entirely material in nature and constructed by Maya.

Purpose: The Temporary Reward God sends the jiva (soul) to these abodes for short durations as a reward to enjoy the fruits of their virtuous actions (punya). Once the merit is exhausted, the soul must return to the cycle of birth and death.
