Samanya Kripa (Devanagari: सामान्य कृपा; ISO 15919: sāmānya kr̥pā) refers to God's general grace.

It is the benevolent kindness that God bestows equally upon all living beings, regardless of their devotion or recognition of Him. We do not pay God for these services, nor do most beings even acknowledge His role in providing them.

Examples of General Grace

  • Universal Provisions: He provides essential elements like air, water, fire, and space for everyone to use freely.
  • Sustenance: He ensures food is available for every life form, with the specific quantity determined by their destiny (Prarabdha).
  • Divine Accounting: He impartially notes the actions (Karmas) of every human being.
  • Justice: He grants the fruits of those actions to every soul across all life forms without bias.
