sagunvadini richa (Devanagari: सगुणवादिनी ऋचा ISO15919: saguṇavādinī r̥cā) refers to those Mantras in the Vedas that assert the God has countless divine attributes, qualities and forms.

These mantras categorically assert that God (Brahm) has infinite divine qualities and their measures are also limitless.

The Four Types of Vedic Mantras

The Vedas has richas presenting three other aspects of Brahm, resulting in four major perspectives:

  1. sagunvadini (having lots of divine qualities)
  2. nirgunvadini (Having no attributes)
  3. abhedvadini (Non-distinction)
  4. bhedvadini (Dualism/Distinction)

Also written as sagunvadini, sagun-vadini
