rasiya | रसिया
rasiya (Devanagari: रसिया; ISO 15919: rasiyā) literally means "the one who enjoys" or a connoisseur/person of feeling.
In devotional traditions, it is a significant epithet used to describe Shri Krishna because He is the:
- Supreme Enjoyer the primary relisher of all transcendental flavors, or rasas.
- Supreme Entity to be Enjoyed the ultimate object whose beauty, qualities, and love are relished by His devotees.
