The term specifically refers to a saint who has:
- Attained selfless prema.
- Relishes the fine nuances and exchanges of this love (rasa) between Shri Radha Krishna and Their topmost devotees.
The ultimate object of devotion of all rasik saints is Shri Krishna Himself is the supreme Rasika. As the Crest Jewel of all Rasik Saints, He is known as Rasik Shiromani.
