kachhani | काछनी

kachhani (Devanagari: kāchanī; ISO 15919: kāchanī) is is often described as resembling a cloth sash or belt that secures the pitambara (dhoti) and adds an ornamental element.

It is worn below the waist by Shri Krishna over His pitambara, covering the hips and tied at the front, with a portion dangling down the front almost to the knees.
