Holi (Devanagari: होली ISO15919: hōlī) is a Hindu festival which is traditionally celebrated by people throw coloured water and powder on one another. This is the day the demoness Holika was killed for the protection of the great devotee, Prahlada, thereby proving the omnipresence of God.
