dushkritjat anartha (Devanagari: दुष्कृतजात अनर्थ; ISO 15919: duṣkr̥tajāta anartha) refers to offenses or obstacles (anarthas) that arise specifically from engaging in activities that are forbidden by the Vedas. These are considered negative consequences caused by actively violating scriptural commands.
