Is Svarga God's home?
No. Heaven is not God's divine abode.
Inside the brahmand the celestial abodes (loka) situated above the Earth are called svarga or heaven. These are material places are made by Maya . Yet, these are places of higher material luxuries.
When jiva performs virtuous actions (punya karma) in human life then as a reward they are sent to svarga for a limited span of time.
It is a place of no physical afflictions. Yet, the mental afflictions of Maya are rampant.
In those forms of life the jeev is given material bodies which can endure higher levels of luxuries, are given knowledge far beyond what humans have. The weaponry in svarga is much more advanced that the most sophisticated weapons of the earth.
That is why the pleasures of the svarga are tinged with unrest, dissatisfaction, and incompleteness.
Once a jeev goes to God's abode He never needs to go through the cycle of birth and death. But that is not the case with svarga. As a reward jeev are sent to svarga for a fixed period of time. Once the allocated time has elapsed then the jeev is sent back to the earth and human body is not guaranteed. Jeeva might be sent in lower life forms like mosquitoes, dogs, cats etc.
