chit
chit (चित् | cit) means consciousness.
Shri Krishna is is source of all consciousness. So he is called vibhu-chit (large consciousness)
Jeev is conscious because God has eternally made it conscious. But jeev can give life only to one body so it is called anu-chit. So, infinitesimally small consciousness that nothign can be smaller than it.
Also, chit is one of the attributes of God, which means knowledge. This knowledge is eternal and concious. So, cit aspect of God encompasses sat (eternal) aspect of His personality.
