bhrama (Devanagari: भ्रम ISO15919: bhrama) means incomplete knowledge which results in mistakenly considering one object to be another. 

Implying delusion: confusing something with something else, such as a piece of rope to be a snake, brass to be gold, or considering the body to be the self.

This is one of the four defects of a material mind.
