bandanavara | बंदनवार

bandanvar (Devanagari: बंदनवार; ISO15919: bandanavāra) are decorative garlands hung across the top frame of doorways and entrances during auspicious occasions. This decorative string or festoon is made of flowers, leaves, fabric, or beads. Traditionally they were made with mango leaves and marigold flowers.
