advaya jnana tattva | अद्वय ज्ञान तत्त्व
advaya jnana tatva (Devanagari: अद्वय ज्ञान तत्त्व ISO15919: advaya jñāna tattva) is a sublime epithet used ONLY for The Supreme Lord Shri Krishna.
advaya literally means "no second".
🔑 The Defining Criteria
An entity is accepted as advaya (non-dual) only if it meets all of the following criteria:
- Self-Existent: It is self-existent and does not depend on any other entity.
- Unique Identity: There is no entity identical to it.
- Universal Nature: There is no entity fundamentally different from it.
- Self-Powered: It operates entirely with its own powers.
💯 Threefold Non-Difference (Bheda Shunya)
Therefore, advaya jnana tattva is one which is
- sajatiya bheda shunya - when the entity is non-different from objects of the same nature,
- vijatiya bheda shunya - when the entity is non-different from objects of a different nature, and
- svagata bheda shunya - when the entity is non-different within oneself.
