yukta vairagya | युक्त वैराग्य

Yukta vairagya (Devanagari: युक्त वैराग्य ISO15919: yukta vairāgya) means real renunciation.
Real renunciation is when mind has no desire of any material luxuries, objects and people. Moreover, there is absence of pride of having given up everything.
Please note: Mind cannot stay idle for a moment. So, if it is not desiring for material world then it will desire for God.
A person with yukta vairagya remains equipoised when they are surrounded by luxuries or completely devoid of it.
A few examples of such saints who had luxuries to the hilt yet had yukta vairagya are Prahlad, Dhruv, Janak, Pundarik Vidyanidhi.
