आरती प्रीतम प्यारी की, कि बनवारी नथवारी की ।
दुहुँन सिर कनक - मुकुट झलकै,
दुहुँन श्रुति कुण्डल भल हलकै,
दुहुँन दृग प्रेम-सुधा छलकै,
चसीले बैन, रसीले नैन, गँसीले सैन,
दुहुँन मैनन मनहारी की, कि बनवारी नथवारी की । आरती ....
दुहुँन दृग - चितवनि पर वारी, दुहुँन लट-लटकनि छवि न्यारी,
दुहुँन भौं - मटकनि अति प्यारी,
रसन मुख पान, हँसन मुस्कान, दसन दमकान,
दुहुँन बेसर छवि न्यारी की, कि बनवारी नथवारी की। आरती....
एक उर पीताम्बर फहरै,
एक उर नीलाम्बर लहरै,
दुहुँन उर लर - मोतिन छहरे,
कंकनन खनक, किंकिनिन झनक, नूपुरुन भनक,
दुहुँन रुनझुन धुनि प्यारी की, कि बनवारी नथवारी की । आरती....
एक सिर मोर मुकुट राजै,
एक सिर चूनर - छवि छाजै,
दुहुँन सिर तिरछे भल भ्राजै,
संग ब्रज बाल, लाड़िली - लाल, बाँह गल डाल,

श्री युगल सरकार आरती-अर्थ
हम प्रियतम श्यामसुन्दर एवं प्यारी श्री किशोरी जी की आरती करते हैं ।
दोनों के सिर पर स्वर्ण के मुकुट चमक रहे हैं, दोनों के कानों में सुन्दर कुण्डल हिल रहे हैं, दोनों की आँखोंसे प्रेमामृत छलक रहा है । दोनों की वाणी अत्यन्त मधुर है । दोनों के नेत्र अत्यन्त सरस हैं । दोनों के कटाक्ष अत्यन्त ही तीखे हैं । दोनों कामदेव के मन को भी हरने वाले हैं ।
हम दोनों के परस्पर देखने पर बलिहार जाते हैं । दोनों के घुँघराले बालों की छटा अत्यन्त ही निराली है। दोनों की भौं हों के चलने की रीति अत्यन्त ही आकर्षक है । दोनों के मुख में पान का रस है । दोनों का हँसना, मुसकाना मनमोहक है । दोनों के दाँतों की चमक अत्यन्त सुंदर है, दोनों के बेसर की झाँकी तो अत्यन्त ही निराली है ।
श्यामसुन्दर के वक्षःस्थल पर पीताम्बर फहरा रहा है, किशोरी जी के वक्षःस्थल पर नीलाम्बर लहरा रहा है, तथा दोनों के वक्षस्थल पर मोतियों की लड़ियाँ झूम रही हैं। दोनों के कंकण, दोनों की किंकिणि एवं दोनों के नूपुर की रुनझुन ध्वनि अत्यन्त ही मनोहारिणी है ।
श्यामसुन्दर के शीश पर मोर मुकुट सुशोभित है, किशोरी जी के शीश पर सुंदर चुनरी शोभायमान है, एवं दोनों के सिर तिरछे होकर परस्पर मिले हुए शोभा दे रहे हैं । 'कृपालु जी महाराज कहते हैं कि श्यामसुन्दर एवं किशोरी जी गले में परस्पर बाँहें डाले हुए हैं । समीप में ही ब्रजाङ्गनाएँ खड़ी हैं, एवं प्रिया प्रियतम एक दूसरे की ओर कटाक्ष प करते हुए देख रहे हैं ।

āratī prītama pyārī kī, ki banavārī nathavārī kī ।
duhum̐na sira kanaka - mukuṭa jhalakai,
duhum̐na śruti kuṇḍala bhala halakai,
duhum̐na dr̥ga prema-sudhā chalakai,
casīle baina, rasīle naina, gam̐sīle saina,
duhum̐na mainana manahārī kī, ki banavārī nathavārī kī । āratī ....
duhum̐na dr̥ga - citavani para vārī, duhum̐na laṭa-laṭakani chavi nyārī,
duhum̐na bhauṁ - maṭakani ati pyārī,
rasana mukha pāna, ham̐sana muskāna, dasana damakāna,
duhum̐na besara chavi nyārī kī, ki banavārī nathavārī kī। āratī....
eka ura pītāmbara phaharai,
eka ura nīlāmbara laharai,
duhum̐na ura lara - motina chahare,
kaṁkanana khanaka, kiṁkinina jhanaka, nūpuruna bhanaka,
duhum̐na runajhuna dhuni pyārī kī, ki banavārī nathavārī kī । āratī....
eka sira mora mukuṭa rājai,
eka sira cūnara - chavi chājai,
duhum̐na sira tirache bhala bhrājai,
saṁga braja bāla, lāḍa़ilī - lāla, bām̐ha gala ḍāla,
'kr̥pālu' duhum̐na dr̥ga cārī kī, ki banavārī nathavārī kī । āratī.....
English Meaning
Let us perform Arti of beloved Shri Krishna and exceptionally sweet Shri Radha, whose favorite ornament is nose ring.
Shri Radha and Krishna are gorgeously adorned with dazzling golden crowns. Their earrings are moving to and fro beautifully. Sweet nectar of divine love is overflowing form their eyes. Their talks are fascinating, Their eyes are full of nectar, Their glances are heart-piercing. Their beauty attracts even Cupid (a celestial god of beauty).
I sacrifice myself on Their bewitching glances. The beauty of Their curly hair is exceptional. The movement of their eyebrows is striking. The beauty of the red juice of betel leaves on their lips, sweet smile and luminous teeth, are captivating. What to say of the beauty of nose-pearl, which is really unique.
The pitambara is nicely fluttering on the chest of Shyam Sundar, on the other hand a blue saree is adorning the body of Shri Radha Rani. Pearl-necklaces are adorning the upper body of both of them. The jingling of their bracelets, tinkling of their waist-belt, and the rattling of Their anklets are creating a most attractive combined sound, which is extremely enthralling.
A crown decorated with the peacock feathers is embellishing the head of Shri Krishna and a chunari is beautifying the head of Shri Radha Rani. The heads of both are slightly leaning on each other’s head. A group of gopis is standing around them and They are standing putting their arms around each other. Although this scene is really spectacular, yet what to say of that rapturous scene when they look intently into the eyes of each other!
