videha paramahamsa | विदेह परमहंस
Videha Paramahamsa (Devanagari: विदेह परमहंस; ISO 15919: videha paramahaṁsa) refers to a highly advanced spiritual state of a Brahmajnani (knower of the Absolute).
Literally meaning "bodiless supreme swan," it describes a sage who has attained such deep absorption in Nirakar Brahm that they are completely oblivious to their physical body and its needs.
Example This was the state of King Janaka (often called Videha) before he beheld Shri Ram in the garden. Although he was a king, his consciousness was entirely detached from his physical form and royal status.
