vaidhi bhakti | वैधी भक्ति
Vaidhi bhakti (Devanagari: वैधी भक्ति ISO15919: vaidhī bhakti ) means practicing devotion in a strict, rule-based way, as prescribed in the Vedas . The word vaidhi comes from vidhi , which means “method” or “rule” in the Vedas.
In this type of bhakti:
- The devotee follows all the rituals ( karmkand ).
- The goal is to attain mukti (liberation).
- The main motivation is fear—especially fear of going to narak .
