The supernatural powers attained through the practice of yoga are called siddhis (Devanagari: सिद्धि ISO15919: siddhi). These eight divine personalities always stay in service of God and God-realized saints.

To a limited extent these siddhis can be attained by accomplished yogis as well.

  1. Anima to become tinier than the tiniest particle.
  2. Laghima to become lighter than cotton.
  3. Mahima to become heavier than a mountain.
  4. Prapti to procure anything from anywhere in the entire universe
  5. Ishittva to make the impossible, possible within the material world.
  6. Vashittva to control anything and anyone in the world.
  7. Prakamya to fulfill all material desires.
  8. Kamavasayita to fulfill resolutions instantaneously.
