Shri Radha is the only Supreme Goddess of raas lila (Devanagari: रास लीला ISO15919: rāsa līlā). It is often referred to simply as raas (Devanagari: रास ISO15919: rāsa).

The Supreme God Shri Krishna puts His crown at the lotus feet of Shri Radha to seek permission for commencement of this pastime. Raas-Dance is based on purely classical Indian music. in this divine dance the excellence of actions, facial expressions, rhythm, melodies etc. are divinely spectacular.

Raas is a divine dance in which only Shri Radha Krishna and the Gopis of Samartha Rati level of divine love, can participate.  The goal of such deserving gopis is exclusively to please The Divine Couple. The happiness of Shri Radha Krishna is their happiness. These gopis do not desire for self happiness. Even in their dreams desire for self happiness doesn't cross their minds.

So, in Raas lila these supremely selfless gopis dance in a circle and Shri Radha Krishna dance in the center of that circle.

The nectar of love rains at that time drenching them in hue of bliss of divine love.
