Pranipaat is superlative spiritual form of the initial act of paat, representing a distinct hierarchy in humility and surrender to your Guru.

Paat (पात, pāta) - a sign of physical humility, but the mind lacks true feeling of submission.
Nipaat (निपात, nipāta) - firm determination that this is a genuine saint. However, slips may still occur if the seeker fails to follow the Guru's guidance.
Pranipaat (प्रणिपात, praṇipāta) - total surrender, marked by the steadfast commitment to never doubt the Guru's divinity.
