pitri rina | पितृ ऋण
pitri rina (Devanagari: पितृ ऋण; ISO 15919: pitr̥ r̥ṇa) refers to the ancestral debt that every jiva (soul) owes to their forefathers.
This debt acknowledges the contribution of ancestors toward one's spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
