parichchhedavada (Devanagari: परिच्छेदवाद ISO15919: paricchedavāda) is doctrine of sectionalization.

Followers of Jagadguru Shankaracharya refuted the version of advait-vada propounded by Jagadguru Shankaracharya.

The propounded that Brahm is one and only eternal entity. Brahm is nothing but light.

When Brahm was endowed with Vidya (knowledge) then a part of Brahm became Ishvara.

When Brahm was endowed with avidya (lack of knowledge) then a part of Brahm becomes jiva.

This philosophy is does not withstand logical reasoning.

  • When there is only one entity when where did Vidya and avidya.
  • Brahm is faultless, indivisible, form of light. Then, how can Brahm be divided.
