parakiya bhava | परकीया भाव
When Shri Krishna descended on earth in the land of Braj some married woman loved Shri Krishna with madhurya bhav. Such a sentiment is called parakiya bhava (Devnanagari: परकीया भाव ISO15919: parakīyā bhāva).
Some unmarried girls also loved Him with madhurya bhav. Their sentiment is called svakiya bhav (Devnanagari: स्वकीया भाव ISO15919: svakīyā bhāva).
Devotees with parakiya bhava has to defy the decorum put forth by the scriptures and families. Due to these restrictions the love of devotees parakiya bhava increases by leaps and bounds. So this is sweeter and superior than svakiya bhav.
