nirvisesha | निर्विशेष

Nirvisesha (Devanagari: निर्विशेष; ISO 15919: nirviśeṣa) refers to the state of Having No Distinctive Qualities.

This term is primarily used to describe Nirakara Brahm (the Formless Absolute). In this aspect of the Supreme Lord, the divine attributes, names, forms, and pastimes are not manifest.

The Unmanifest State While God eternally possesses all potencies, in the Nirvisesha state, He does not exhibit them. He is perceived as undifferentiated, pure eternal-existence-bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda), without the "special" (Vishesha) characteristics found in His personal forms.
