nirguna bhakti | निर्गुणा भक्ति
Nirguna bhakti (Devanagari: निर्गुणा भक्ति ISO15919: nirguṇā bhakti ) means devotion which is not laced with gunas of Maya. It is done only with the aim of pleasing God.

Freedom from Material Modes It denotes devotion that is completely free from the influence of the three modes (Gunas) of material nature—ignorance (Tamas), passion (Rajas), or goodness (Sattva). Nirguna Bhakti is situated in pure transcendence.
Sole Motivation This type of devotion is causeless (Ahaituki) and unceasing. It is performed with the single-pointed aim of pleasing God, without any desire for material gain, liberation (Moksha), or personal happiness.
