mridanga | मृदंग
Mridanga (Devanagari: मृदंग; ISO 15919: mr̥daṅga) is a traditional percussion instrument.
It is a double-headed, barrel-shaped drum featuring animal hide on both the left and right faces. It is played by striking the taut surfaces with the hands.
