krita grantha | कृत ग्रंथ
krita grantha (Devanagari: कृत ग्रंथ ISO15919: kr̥ta graṁtha) refers to compositions authored by worldly people—those under the influence of Maya.
Consequently, these works are subject to four inherent defects:
- bhrama: Mistaken perception (confusing one thing for another).
- pramada: Carelessness or inattention of the mind.
- vipralipsa: The propensity to deceive or hide one's factual defects.
- karnapatava: A lack of true experience, leading to an inability to perceive things in their entirety.
While these texts may contain partial truths, the presence of these flaws means they cannot serve as an authoritative source of spiritual knowledge.
