kevala bhakti | केवला भक्ति
Kevala Bhakti (Devanagari: केवला भक्ति; ISO 15919: kevalā bhakti) refers to Unalloyed or Exclusive Devotion.
The Meaning of Exclusivity The term Kevala means "only," "whole," or "absolute." Therefore, Kevala Bhakti denotes single-minded devotion to Shri Krishna, where He is the sole object of love and the sole means of attainment.
Purity of Intent It is "unalloyed" because it is not mixed with any other path or desire. The devotee rejects reliance on Karma (ritualistic duties), Jnana (speculative knowledge), or Yoga, depending entirely on the grace and service of the Lord.
