kaustubha | कौस्तुभ

kaustubha mani (Devanagari: कौस्तुभ मणि ISO15919: kaustubha mani) is a divine jewel that eternally adorns the chest of Shri Krishna.

During the lila (pastime) of the Churning of the Milky Ocean (Kshirasagara), fourteen divine treasures emerged. The Kaustubha jewel was one of these treasures; upon its emergence, it was presented to the Lord, who placed it upon His chest.
