karnapatava | कर्णापाटव
karnapatava (Devanagari: कर्णापाटव ISO15919: karṇāpāṭava) refers to a lack of true experience coupled with the pretense of being experienced.
This inexperience results in an inability to perceive things in their entirety or true form. However, due to the desire for praise (to be called "good"), one hides this ignorance. It is one of the four inherent defects of the material mind.
