kalpa | कल्प
Kalpa (Devanagari: कल्प; ISO 15919: kalpa) refers to a Cosmic Eon.
It corresponds to the duration of one day (daytime only) in the life of the Creator, Lord Brahma. At the end of this period, a partial dissolution occurs, and the brahmand remains dormant during Brahma's night of equal length.
