jnani | ज्ञानी

Jnani (Devanagari: ज्ञानी; ISO 15919: jñānī) refers to a Knower.

A Jnani is a follower of the path of Jnana Marg (The Path of Knowledge) or Jnana Yoga.

The Approach Unlike the devotee who relies on grace, the Jnani relies on their own strength of intellect and discrimination (Viveka).

The Goal Their ultimate objective is Moksha (Liberation)—to merge their individual identity into the Supreme, thereby eliminating the Triputi (the distinction between knower, knowledge, and known).
