Jnana (Devanagari: ज्ञान ISO15919: jñāna) is discrimination through spiritual knowledge.

It is used in a few different ways.

  1. Jnana can theoretical knowledge or practical knowledge of any subject. These can be material, or divine matters.
  2. janana marga results in atma-jnana.
  3. jnana yoga results in brahma-jnana.
