Shrimad Bhagavad Gita (Devanagari: श्रीमद्भगवदगीता ISO15919: śrīmadbhagavadagītā) is popularly referred to as Gita.

A 700-verse scripture containing the essence of Upanishads and all darshan shastra. It was recited by Shri Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra prior to the commencement of the Mahabharata War. It is the most well-known Hindu scripture.
