bhikshu pada prasarana nyaya | भिक्षु पाद प्रसारण न्याय

bhikshu pada prasarana nyaya (Devanagari: भिक्षु पाद प्रसारण न्याय ISO15919: bhikṣu pāda prasāraṇa nyāya) is a philosophy from the book of Nyay. It is literally translated as beggar stretching legs philosophy and best described with a short story. In the end we describe its relevance the God.

A hungry, poorly clothed beggar stood outside the gates of a family's house in the scorching heat. He knocked the door of the house. When the owner answered the door he requested to be allowed to sit in the outside verandah to get a little relief from the sun. The owner was a compassionate human. He allowed the beggar to sit there.

Then the beggar said, it is still very hot here, can I come in inside your house and sit under the fan. The owner allowed him.

Then he asked to sit on the sofa. The owner allowed him.

Then he went inside the master bedroom, stretched his legs on the bed and took a nice nap.

Then the beggar claimed the house to to His.

This describes how jiva has to let God/Guru into his mind/heart. Then God/Guru grace the jiva by claiming inch by inch of the jiva's heart and mind. Finally, God/Guru become the master and jiva attains the bliss he has been wanting to attain.

This is bhikshu pada prasarana nyaya.
